Hello Julia, I was intrigued by your descriptions in your comment on Enid's blog. It must all be to do with whether we are right- or left-brain dominant; it has ramifications for teaching aural as I imagine that, if you assess a pupil, methods can be adapted for the two different ways of 'seeing' music. I did a little internet reading around this but not enough to come to any great conclusions. But I will bear it in mind.. :) Louise
