I would love it if you could incorporate a Semi-Professional category, as neither Serious Amateur nor Professional quite sums up me up! I would really like to hook up with others who fit this 'in-between' category like me.

This presents a rather interesting case for the beneficial role of social networks like MusBook, I thought-I wonder how we can best harness tis positive effect? Thoughts, anyone?

Hi!!! I would like to see a bio on everyones profile!!!!!!! I had huge difficulty realising how to do this! -Not sure if this is the reason why I don`t see many filled-out profiles?? Maybe make it more obvious? Thanks,Sam

Hi Sam

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I'll pass this on to the management team straight away.

Applications that don't look like late night advertisements for use on mobile phones would be nice.

Pardon my... straightness...

Hi Yagan

Thank you for your comments! I believe the applications are automatically ported in from the company that supplies that software. I'll talk to our tech people and see if we can be more selective about which applications show up on MusBook - you're right, we want to be careful about the kind of thing that's available through the open social applications!

Best regards,

A lot of them are actually quite useful (dropbox for example is quite good). But the dating ones are quite bad and very distracting!, not to mention quite inappropriate for (I believe, I'm still quite new) this kind of social network. They may work better on myspace or friendster.

The little blurb which comes up on the Events page is difficult to judge. Basically it's the first however many characters of your event description but without any formatting. Perhaps it would be better to have another bit where you write a blurb with a character limit and then a separate full event description. Good site though, will be interested to see how it develops.

Hi Iain. Thanks so much for your feedback! Just to clarify, is your question whether or not we can make it clearer about which part of the event description shows up as the bit of text that appears in the listing on the main 'events' page? If you can just make it clear to me exactly which bit you are referring to, I will run this past our tech team and see if we can get it improved. Thank you!

Hi Justin, thanks for your prompt reply. That is the bit I was referring to. If there is any further confusion as to what the specifics of the problem are just let me know.

Hi Yagan

Great news - I've just heard back from our tech team and I'm pleased to say that we can now screen the applications available through MusBook. We'll be going through the applications and reviewing them one by one over the next week, and eliminating any that we don't think fit the tone of the site. Thanks so much for this idea!
